Yoga Holiday in Antiparos 10-16 June
A week of soothing yoga, holiday and relaxation on the beautiful island of Antiparos.
With the beautiful view from the shala, overlooking the blue sea, at Kouros Village we will dive into five full days of yoga, good food, walks and time to relax under the Greek sun.
Focusing on gently moving the body, resting and tuning in to yourself, this retreat is an invitation
for you to calm down and connect to your heart.
Twice a day we will meet for a session of yoga. The benefit of starting and ending your day on the
mat will not go unnoticed in your body. My guess is that you will feel both more soft, calm and
stronger, at the end of the week.
My teaching is for everyone, and you can easily join in even if you are new to yoga. My ambition is
for you to feel welcome, seen and cared for during these days of time for you.
After yoga we will have brunch/breakfast together, every night I will propose a restaurant for
dinner, one night we will go for a sunset walk and there will be an afternoon of (from yoga) with the
proposal of a trip to join.
Everything is optional for you. I invite you to tune in and do what your heart desires.
Meet your teacher Rikke Kobaek:
“Yoga has been in my life for 25 years and I’ve been teaching for 13 years. I started teaching
children and families and I still teach a lot of kidsyoga. Since 2019 I teach adults how to teach
yoga to children. In 2020 I went to India for my first “adult” teachers training and since then I have
been teaching regular yoga classes, and I love every minute of it.
For me yoga is a way of connecting with myself and feeling at home. Over the years my practice
has helped me through hard times and physical pain, and I have learned that on the mat I get in
touch with myself, and my body just feels better.
I teach a gentle, and soothing yoga based on hatha yoga combined with gentle flows, restorative
poses and deep relaxations. This doesn’t mean that I don’t challenge you, but that you will
experience a gentle and thorough guidning through the practice, where we gently warm the body up
and always ends in a good deep relaxation in the end.
I first visited Antiparos 21 years ago and my love for the Island keeps me coming back. This is my
3rd year of teaching retreats on the island.
I am based in Copenhagen, the teaching will be in Danish/English. “
